In San Marin High, there is one course that will provide you a viable foundation for colleges and any majors or careers regarding engineering, scientific fields, or mathematics. This set of classes is known as the STEM Program. It is a hands-on, project based series of rounded classes that specializes in preparing its students for whatever lies ahead with a collection of collaborative projects. Feel free to click on this link to go to the STEM Program's home page for more information!
As a freshman, a student takes two classes as a block. The first is a Conceptual Physics course, and the second is a Principles of Engineering Course. To view a full selection of my 9th grade projects, click here.
During a student's sophomore year, they take a combination of Biology and Biotech 1 as a two-class block. For my 10th grade projects, click here.
In the 11th grade, the STEM program students take a Chemistry class, and are able to take another science class that is not a part of the program (In my case, that was AP Biology). To see a list of my chemistry projects, click here!
